I always enjoy watching The Antiques Roadshow. That’s why how I knew of Philip Hook. Non-fiction is not my usual type of book to read, but this one is quite different. Interesting, enlightening, humorous – where else would you find that a picture withy a small dash of read will sell better?

I am the usual type of art gallery visitor: I know what I like, but cannot tell you why. This book told me in a very interesting and easy way how to appreciate art much more.
