It was a lovely autumn day on Tuesday so we decided to have a day out with Jay. He is staying with us for a few days during his half term holidays. We went to the Edgbaston botanical gardens and had a great time. The weather was perfect, the gardens were a delight.

It is quite amazing to find a gem like this close to the centre of a large city.
